Acupuncture
Acupuncture is one of the oldest forms of therapy and has its roots in ancient Chinese philosophy. Modern acupuncturists not only use traditional meridian acupuncture points, but also non-meridian or extra-meridian acupuncture points such as trigger points. The evidence-based approach examines protocols evaluated in controlled trials, alongside Traditional Chinese Medicine Theory.
Chiropractic
Chiropractors are educated in the prevention, assessment, diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions and associated neurological system. Following an initial assessment, if your chiropractor believes you can benefit from care, they will recommend a conservative course of treatment to help relieve pain and improve function, which may include manipulation, mobilization, soft tissue therapy, acupuncture, exercise, education, modalities and rehabilitation. Specific training in spinal manipulative therapy (SMT) allows chiropractors to provide adjustments using highly-skilled and precise movements to the vertebrae of the spine, correcting joint motion to restore proper movement and improve function.
At Rebound Health and Wellness our focus is on helping you feel better, while guiding you to supported self-management.
Counselling / Psychotherapy / Mental Health
Our counselling team provides an evidence-based delivery of therapy where the client is in control; they are the experts in their own lives. We provide both mental health diagnosis specific or general mental wellness counselling meeting the needs of all types of people. Using a client-centered, strengths-based approach, we work to help build on the strengths people already hold and help them get moving forward.
Custom Orthotics
Custom orthotics can help with a variety of mechanical conditions often arising from a biomechanical gait abnormality, or foot problem. Orthotics are often prescribed in combination with treatments such as chiropractic care, acupuncture, physiotherapy, and massage therapy.
Holistic Nutrition
Holistic Nutrition is a comprehensive health care discipline that takes into consideration your health history, current diet and lifestyle habits, environment and state of mind. Holistic nutritionists are trained to recognize the symptoms of poor digestion and nutrient deficiencies and develop individualized protocols using diet, lifestyle and supplementation to bring the body back into balance. Beyond alleviation of symptoms, Holistic Nutritionists aim to increase vitality by working with the individual to make lasting changes.
IV Therapy + Injections
IV Drip treatments are known to provide the body with the essential vitamins and minerals it requires by injecting the solution directly into the bloodstream. This facilitates a very high absorption rate and, because it is fast-acting, delivers efficient results immediately after finishing the treatment. Our IV therapies have been specially formulated to provide your body with the vitamins, nutrients, fluids, electrolytes and anti-oxidants that you need. With four different IV therapies to choose from, our specially formulated IV drips will help you work hard and perform better. Our team can also provide injections as well.
Medical Aesthetics
Medical aesthetics includes all medical treatments that are focused on improving the cosmetic appearance of patients.
Naturopathic Medicine
Naturopathic medicine is a health care system that combines traditional philosophies with modern scientific knowledge. It is the art and science of treatment and prevention of disease. Your wellbeing is best supported when the underlying causes of health and disease are addressed, and when all aspects of you as an individual are included in this process. NDs use botanical medicine, acupuncture, solid nutrition, homeopathy, and lifestyle counselling to support your unique healing process. Traditional methods of assessment and laboratory tests are used to guide the choice of therapies. Your individualized treatment plan will be created with the goal of helping you feel informed, connected and cared for as you optimize your health.
Osteopathy
Osteopathy is a holistic manual therapy that aims to improve health across all body systems treating the whole body. It feels like a targeted massage aiming to remove the barriers in the body to restore balance. An osteopathic treatment begins with a specific assessment to identify the underlying causes of pain and dysfunction. This is achieved by taking a thorough medical history and by performing a postural assessment, orthopedic and other manual tests. Treatment is based on this assessment and consists of gentle manipulation of the skeletal system, soft tissues (muscle, ligaments, tendons, and fascia), the viscera (organs), and the craniosacral system.
Pelvic Health Physiotherapy
Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy for males and females, includes treatment for concerns pertaining to bladder and bowel function such as urgency/frequency/constipation, pelvic pain, painful intercourse, pre and post natal care, post surgical treatment (ex. post prostatectomy, hysterectomy), and much more. If you are wondering if pelvic physiotherapy is right for a concern you may have, please email our clinic to inquire hello@reboundwellness.ca.
You don’t need to live with incontinence, pelvic pain and low back pain.. If you’re experiencing bladder control issues or pelvic floor pain when you sneeze, cough, or in the middle of your fitness routine, our pelvic floor physiotherapist can help. Pelvic floor physiotherapy is available for both men and women and is appropriate for clients suffering from incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, increased pelvic tone or weakness, low back pain, sexual dysfunction or post surgical complications, including post-natal pelvic floor issues.
Pelvic floor physiotherapy treatments address the pain and discomfort associated with weak or imbalanced pelvic floor muscles. Pelvic floor assessments involve a thorough history and often include an internal vaginal or rectal exam by a physiotherapist with specialized training. Following your assessment you will be given a treatment plan including home exercises. Our Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist Denisha looks forward to meeting with you!

Registered Massage Therapy
Massage therapy consists primarily of hands-on manipulation of the soft tissues of the body, specifically, the muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and joints for the purpose of optimizing health.
Massage therapy treatment has a therapeutic effect on the body and optimizes health and well-being by acting on the muscular, nervous and circulatory systems. Physical function can be developed, maintained and improved; and physical dysfunction and pain and the effects of stress can be relieved or prevented through the use of Massage Therapy.
Stretch Therapy (FST)
Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) is a pain free, hands on treatment that targets the body’s most prevalent tissue; the fascia.
What is Fascia? The connective tissue that wraps and connects muscles, joints, nerves, bones, and organs. Similar to muscle fascia can get tight and bound down, however it responds better to movement and stretching and than to traditional massage and other therapies.
FST is compatible with other forms of treatment and training. Results are often seen within 1-3 sessions and accumulate over time. Combined with exercises to help maintain mobility and strengthen your body in its new range, FST will help you move and feel better for whatever your needs may be.
