Following an initial assessment, if your chiropractor believes you can benefit from care, they will recommend a conservative course of treatment to help relieve pain and improve function, which may include manipulation, mobilization, soft tissue therapy, acupuncture, exercise, education, modalities and rehabilitation. Specific training in spinal manipulative therapy (SMT) allows chiropractors to provide adjustments using highly-skilled and precise movements to the vertebrae of the spine, correcting joint motion to restore proper movement and improve function.

What is Fascia? The connective tissue that wraps and connects muscles, joints, nerves, bones, and organs. Similar to muscle fascia can get tight and bound down, however it responds better to movement and stretching and than to traditional massage and other therapies.

FST is a gentle whole body treatment to improve your mobility. FST is compatible with other forms of treatment and training. Results are often seen within 1-3 sessions and accumulate over time. Combined with exercises to help maintain mobility and strengthen your body in its new range, FST will help you move and feel better for whatever your needs may be.

After being introduced to osteopathy in 2011, Mina grew a keen interest towards the profession as his desire was always to help people feel better and pain free.

Mina is a British trained osteopath who went on to complete his Masters in Osteopathic Medicine in London, England at the British College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Mina appreciates the holistic approach that osteopathy takes as his job is to seek the underlying physiological cause of the issue, following the bio-psycho-social model of health. Mina aims in providing support to educate, engage and influence patients in decisions pertaining to achieving and maintaining optimal health.

In his years of clinical training in the UK and Canada, Mina has dealt with all patients ranging from young athletes, office workers, elderly patients, factory/industrial workers as well as pregnant women. Mina uses osteopathy as a way of detecting and treating injuries in the muscles, ligaments, fascia, nerves and joints of the body. Having a highly developed sense of touch known as palpation, he will gently and specifically evaluate and treat injuries. As an osteopathic practitioner, Mina believes that the body has the ability to heal itself and the skilled application of osteopathic techniques (massage, visceral, mobilization/manipulation and soft tissue) in addition to exercise prescription can improve this process and help patients reach their optimal goal.

Mina is a member of the Ontario Association of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners and is covered by insurance.

Sabine is a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) as a Registered Psychotherapist as well as a member of the Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists and Psychotherapists. She holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.

I have always had a passion for counselling, but started off my career in business marketing. My first experience in a counselling role, was when I created and led a support group for new mothers for a local breastfeeding clinic. After becoming a professionally trained new parent mentor and support volunteer with the Down Syndrome Association of Toronto, it inspired me to transition my career into mental health counselling.

My recent experience in the mental health field includes providing a wide range of professional counselling services, however, my core strengths lie in working with individuals who are experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, suicidal ideations, post-partum mood disorders, occupational burnout and relationship challenges.

In my role as a psychotherapist, I take a person-centered, non-judgmental and empathetic approach with my clients. One of my favourite mottos that I like to apply in therapy is “start where you are; use what you have; do what you can.” In a collaborative manner, I work with my clients to firstly establish a solid therapeutic relationship and empower them to work through their struggles in order to effect positive change.

I have specialized training in working with couples and individuals from an emotionally focused perspective. I work with individual clients whose fear or worry shows up at the worst possible times, and support couples who are both leaning in, want to stay together, and want to believe their relationship still has hope, as well as couples who are struggling to figure out what their direction is in their relationship. I support people to form loving connections and improve their relationships with their partner(s) as well as themselves. I meet them where they’re at and support them as well as their relationship. My training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) allows me to provide evidence-based interventions to support both individual clients and couples to create lasting change in their lives.

Clients say I’m not like other therapists. They appreciate that I show up authentically and with humour; I’m not stuffy and I won’t just smile and nod! I create a space where you will feel heard, valued and understood. I have relationship training in EFT to Core Skills level however good rapport with your therapist is critical beyond the type the therapy your therapist is trained in.
